FLR (M) application from Tier 2 visa (just resigned)

Hello Everyone,

Situation

- I have Tier 2 Company Sponsored Visa - valid until Aug 2013

- I am going to marry my fiance, a British Citizen on March 16 2012

- I am going to apply for FLR [M] on 20 March 2012 with an extensive list of evidence

- My fiance has a steady job and can provide extensive evidence of his employment and I can provide all evidence of our relationship, finances

- I have a mortgage on a house in the UK

- I have handed in my resignation at my current company and my last day of employment is on 23 March 2012

- I have another job offer conditional to me obtaining my own visa or a work visa

Complication

- UK home office states that if you have a visa valid for six months or less in the UK you cannot change status to a spouse visa

- My orignal duration of my Visa is 2 years and this will still be valid as I will be applying 3 days before my employment terminates


Questions

- Will my sitation affect my visa application?

- Should I tell the home office about this situations that I have resigned from my current company and that I have another conditional job offer? I will be porviding all other straight forward evidence

- Will the fact that I am a home owner in the UK boost my application and strenghten my evidence?
