Biometrics residence permit

Post by immiguy » Mon Mar 05, 2012 9:26 am

Hello,

I am applying for ILR. Set (o) form.

1). I am going for premium service, I have never given finger prints or biometrics earlier, so by looking at the doc I understood they are going to take biometrics at the same time as my application (premium serivce) and going to send the Biometrics permit via post within 10 days, can you please confirm i have understood these correctly? Anyone been recently?

2). On SET(O) form (version 02/2012) section 11(L).

Tier 1 (General) migrant If you are applying for indefinite leave to remain on completing 5 years’ continuous stay in the UK made up of leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant and leave as a highly skilled migrant, work permit holder, innovator, self-employed lawyer or writer, composer or artist, in addition to the relevant documents in 11A, you must provide the following documents:

Evidence that you are Evidence specified in section 9A of this form

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules

Does this mean they are asking for last 5 years P60 or HM revenue confirmation letter showing my tax being paid for last 5 years?

Thanks for your help.

1. Yes

2. Some cases workers are satisfied with 12months bank statements and payslip but other DO ASK FOR P60's so i'll advise you have some sort of HMRC evidence if your P60's are missing

Hi,
This is not really Clear :
"...For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules..."

If you submit your ILR application as a TIER-1, then it is clear Home Office have issued a letter for the extension which lead to ILR (whatever the Visa category you were before to that letter).

Isn't Home Office letter which confirmed grant of your TIER-1 extension (which is usually after 2-3 years of arrival) sufficient to prove this point?
