Hi All
First post here so hopefully I have it all in the right place.
I am aware of the requirements for the Irish De-Facto relationship in Ireland, basically proof that you have been in a stable relationship for 2 years and that you have been living together during that time.
Myself (Irish) and my Brazillian girlfriend have been together for 2 years but there are a few things we would like to clarify before going ahead with the application.
1. Can we apply for this visa while she still has a valid visa, i.e. can we apply for a De-Facto visa while here student visa is still valid?
2. Currently we are in Brazil, we intend to stay here for the next 3 months, can we initiate the process from over here so that basically we can do pretty much everything from here and then go back if they need to meet with us etc?
3. If we were to apply for and get the equivalent of a De-Facto relationship visa here in Brazil (Stable Union Visa) would that be valid if we return to Ireland or would we have to go through the whole process again in Ireland?
Thanks in advance for you responses.
Regards
Ian
