Tier2 Extension - Incorrect Form Filled

Hi,

I had downloaded the application form for Tier2 extension from UKBA site on 13th Feb,2012. Due to some reasons the posting of application was delayed and I was able to post the form only by 29th Feb,2012. In the meantime since 14th Feb,2012 UKBA have changed the Tier2 extension application form. I have my Leave to Stay valid till 19th April,2012.

So what happens to my application? Will the application be rejected? If the application is rejected, will the documents be sent back along with it.
