You are in an unfortunate and difficult situation. But the rules may not apply in your case as your wife dont seem to be resident in the UK.

How do you envisage applying for this new residence Card, and how do you intend to prove she is exercising treaty rights.

Surinder Singh may apply in Greece if you intend to move there.

No point in feeling ashamed. It is best you discuss this situation with an immigration adviser.

It will be more embarassing if you are stopped in the streets of the UK by immigration officers, and checks reveal your wife is not residing in the UK and you are not in a subsisting relationship.

Ukthanks for your meesage.i know i really dont know what to do.rang solicitor in Greece they laughed!will take 2 decades to retain my own residency in Greece.
i m going to see solicitor here in the UK next week, have booked apointement.didnt want to say anything over the phone but doesnt sound promising to be honest.
i will need anyhow to extend til september next year as that would be 10 years cince (we) I entered the uk.i had a gap of 11 months being away ,unfortunatelly because of the treatment after the car accident i had in 2005.was in hospital for about 4 months than had physiotherapy for almost 7 months .for 10 years long residency rule can i combine eeu entry clearance ,familly permit etc and some extension if i manage?
im not sleeping these days

You really need proper and credible advice. Unfortunately you cannot qualify under 10 years rule, as you need to have accrued some period with Leave to remain and some under EEA regulation. Furthermore you need to provide evidence of the source of the right attached to the Residence Card. As your wife was not exercising treaty rights, it will be difficult to prove this.

In anycase i wish you the best.

And the reason for deleting your opening post and making this topic useless, and posting a new "challenge the experts" is ..... ?
