immigration for elderly parents

Post by Son_of_Soil » Thu Mar 08, 2012 10:47 am

Hello all
I wish someone can put my mind to rest. I am not sure if i have posted my querie on her before, sorry if i did.
I recently got ILR . my parents lives in india on their own. both over 65 and i was thinking of bringing them permanantly here in the UK. they are totally dependent on me for finances and i have been sending money on a regular basis to them.I have sister in india who is married and have her own family. There is no one to look after my parents in india. They have visted here on number of occasion and never satyed longer than 4 months.so they have good immigration history.

The house in india and car is under my dad's name, i read it somewhere that if elderly parents have any assets under their name , its can be difficult to immgrate permannatly , correct me if i am wrong .

I am married with no children and renting a 3 bed house. Can any senior members or modrator help me with the documemts required. I dnt want to go with any solicitor as they asking for atleast £2000 for this.
Please your help is highly appreaciated.

Regards

You have and there are numerous threads created by you on that subject. To avoid posters merely repeating the same information, and if you want comprehensive comment on your case, it would be better if you continued in one of those threads.
