I have finished my course and want to return home for a while. I still have time remaining on my Tier4 student visa. Can I come back to the UK on that student visa to check my exam results with Registry Office?

When does your student-visa expire? How long do you intend to stay outside the UK?

Its risky. UKBA may not let you enter as they have option to do this in circumstances like yours.
