ILR benefits

Post by Miam » Fri Mar 09, 2012 5:43 pm

Hi every one,

I have just got ILR and started claiming child benefit and child tax credit. Which are totally under my name.
My wife and son are here as dependants and I have applied for FLR (M) for their extension as they haven't completed 2- years yet.
After 4-5 months i will be applying for their ILR as well. Will above mentioned benefit claims can be an issue in their ILR case despite the face that they are under my name.
I'll really appreciate any suggestions in this regard.

Thanks.

There are numerous similar questions asked and answered already in this section of the forum. Neither benefit will effect your wife and child's applications however tax credits must be claimed in joint names.
