EEA2 proof of work

Post by theuniverse » Fri Mar 09, 2012 8:41 pm

Hi, I'm going to post my eea2 application on the basis of my wife doing paid work. The only thing is that she just started working for an agency and work is not always there and is temporary(which ideally I wouldn't like to mention to HO), nevertheless she did 30 sth hours this week and was given a payslip. Is it going to be ok if we just send this payslip with eea2 application? Another question is: it mentions in the form the number of hours worked each week- shall I just put those 30sth hours?Expected duration of employment- what shall I write there? Same with "salary received each month/week"- shall I write whatever amount she got this time? And is 1payslip enough proof of work?
Thanks a lot!

The key is to be in genuine and effective employment. From what you wrote, I would say that it is. Can your wife get a letter from the employer stating that she is employed?

Thanks for your reply, will try to get a letter from the agency to say she is employed by them. Though I wonder how many hours a week/month she needs to work or how much to earn to be considered as a worker in UK, Was anyone refused on the basis of not earning enough/not working too often/being on a temporary work, because she never knows when they call her...
"Expected duration of employment"- what shall I write there?
Thanks
