Job offer letter- Tier 2

Hi guys

I am bit confused now after my previous post. I am applying Tier-2 entry clearance visa next week. I am confused whether I have to submit original job offer letter from my employer or can i just print out scan copy of job offer letter and submit it? Does certificate of sponsorship eliminates submission of job offer letter with application?

The reason I am asking about orginal letter is I am still waiting for my original letter from employer but i have got scan copy of it. And my start date of work is 1st of April, so this is catch 22 situation for me.

The documents you need to submit are listed in Appendix A of the VAF9 application form. A job offer letter is not among them.

This is because your sponsor will have assigned a Certificate of Sponsorship to you and that is proof that they are prepared to employ you.

In Appendix 5 you have to enter the number of the Certificate of Sponsorship.
