Tier 1 extension quick query

Post by bruceb » Sat Mar 10, 2012 6:35 pm

hi friends
I have a query, we just completed tier 1 extension for myself and dependants today, all completed except one thing, I forgot to put the date for the dependant after signature on the form. I'm very aware that the document would be termed as not accepted as the date is not mentioned. please can you advise how best to proceed?

Regards
bruce

Dont really understand what you mean by word "completed"? Are you saying that the form is completed and still with you? in that case you can just put the date if required.

I assume you have sent the forms already in which case there is nothing much that you can do. Just wait and see.........
HO may over see this error but can not gurantee

Thanks for the reply, yes I sent the forms & all supporting evidence yesterday. Worried if this form will be rejected just because of this...

won't be rejected, don't worry.

you can have complete peace of mind once payment is taken, that is the sign that application is valid, form, photos etc are in order

Hi,

I think we are in the same boat. Kindly see the below link which can show that loads of people are applying right now to save money thats why the whole process has been slown down.
http://immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=97920

Can you confirm, by what time did you application reach there on monday?

note: you can check that on royal mail tracking website by putting your reference number and then clicking on the digital signature you can find the date/time of the parcel recived and signed by them.

Thanks

hi

My application reached on tuesday, I sent on Saturday therefore there was the weekend to count with. I checked on the royalmail tracking.
It's getting really worrying as I need to go to India in may. I hope we could all get the preference by our date of expiry of visa.

Mine is getting expired in April.

Regards
Bruce

BruceB,
That's ok @ your signature time.
Have you checked your bank account? available funds ? If the transaction has been done, it should show deducted funds available.

Why were you suppose to pay £2000?

So, it appears that fees deducted is only for yourself and anyone dependent. It may go through separately, i wouldnt worry about it for couple of days at least.

Hi Friends....please help me

it's been almost 20days since the payment for myself + one dependant is taken, I called UKBA various times each person advised in a different way. One asked me to send the payment page as fax, one asked me to send the cover letter by post to sheffield. one said they will raise a request for someone to call me, but so far there's no update nor the fee is taken for other dependant.

problem is I have to travel to India in may

has anyone had a similar issue, could UKBA have lost the application for one dependant?
