I´m seriously beginning to wonder what the real intentions of said family are?!

Why are they going to Sweden, if that´s not where they want to be?

Why do they want the residence card so badly, to which they´re entitled anyway wherever they want to stay?

Why not the UK or Ireland?

why they are going to sweden reason
only swedish embassy where they residing right now seems to issue them visa under directives and in 3 weeks time.

but someone who they know lives in sweden told them swedish dont issue residence card for eu family member v quickly.

and aftr arriving there they might have problem of communication as well for getting a job . as they have to learn swedish language to work in retail.

eu national lady use to work in retail this is sector she will be looking job.

why not uk or ireland
they want to leave the country where they residing now .
uk takes 3 months for visa processing it could take longer no guarantee.

ireland is home country national law apply and again
8 weeks minimum processing time and again no guarantee visa will be issud can take more longer

once they are in eu they got more right rather than living in a country where they got no rights.
with a residence card issued any where in schengen, they can eithr go to uk or come to ireland as no visa will b required after that,

and while they are in schengen they can visit different countries before coming back to ireland
sorry if i did any mistake in cpying#
and thanks ca.funke again for replying

I´m pretty convinced that they should choose the country they like, and then take things from there.

The approach to look for the country where the RC is issued fastest makes little sense to me.

Since you talk about "English" - as far as I know the Swedish population on average has an excellent command of English - so they might as well stay there. In terms of English: Germany, Italy, France or Spain would be much less advisable. The only Schengen-internal country where English is spoken officially is, to my knowledge, Malta.

I´m still finding the approach very weird.

Ever so much more I wonder where they actually live at present.

Christian
