set (m) documents

Post by alliosso » Mon Mar 12, 2012 12:06 am

Hi Guys

I live with my husband in his moms house as we are trying to save for mortgage... so we dont have any joint bills as all the bills are under her name... we do however have various documents addressed to us seperately under the same address... so what to do? Anyone have any experience with this?

Documents don't have to be in joint names. Send everything you have in single names...preferably more than the minimum 6, spread as evenly as possible throughout the 2 years. i.e no long gaps.
Even junk mail is acceptable if it shows your name and address.

You can also include a letter explaining that you are living with family...but the documents in single names will be acceptable as proof of joint address.
