Question on filling Tier1 1 Extension form

Post by scoelho » Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:12 am

Hi,

On page 20 question D3. 'What date was the entry clearance or Visa Issued?'

Do i need to mention the date of application that I made abroad or date shown on my visa?

And Section 3 on page 36 J5.

1.Do I need to enter each months Gross pay in the Earning in Pound Sterling field?

2. I have Source of earnings from 2 employers in a year, one ends on Aug 7 and second begins on Aug 8 and from my second employer I didn't received the August payslip, instead they did mention as payback amount on sept payslip and in this case I cannot consider the gross salary as it will be more, ( Aug + sept ) how should I mention this when I breakdown my monthly salary.

Many Thanks,
SS

1.Do I need to enter each months Gross pay in the Earning in Pound Sterling field? - NO, List the timings for which you worked for your employer or the times when you were self employed. This should not exceed 12 month period in total however, it can overlap. If you have more than one source, DO NOT BUNDLE them, instead, list them individually.

- Again, why can you not consider your August Salary (which is marked in your sept salary slip as back pay or whatever else)? You can claim them. .

Many Thanks,
SS

Hi Thanks for the reply, sorry, I was referring to the 6 column in the table of J5 Section 3 as it says Earning in Pounds sterling, I suppose I need to enter my earning here of every month and sum them up at the end. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks,
SS

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, can you also help me out with some questions I have.

Q) I am also applying a dependent visa extension along with my
application, I am providing 12 months bank statements but bit confused
about 15months concept in the guidance. I am employed from Jan 2011
till date and providing bank statements from Feb 28 to Mar 5 and
payslips from Mar 2011 to Feb 2012 which is 12 months period, is it ok?

Q) Do I need to provide 3 months bank statements apart of my 12
months statements as proof of funds maintenance?

Q) While filling the dependent form Section C, I realized that page 12
and page 14,15 are same

Q) Page 34,M6 ; Has the main applicant’s application been assessed in
accordance with paragraphs 39-42 of the HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial
Review Policy Document?
What should be selected here, I am on a Tier 1 General.

Thanks,
SS

Salary can be claimed for any 12 continuous month period from the last 15 months

Q) Do I need to provide 3 months bank statements apart of my 12

You don't need to if you have savings in the same account where your salary is credited.

Q) While filling the dependent form Section C, I realized that page 12
and page 14,15 are same

Don't remove anything. I haven't seen the form so can't comment.

Q) Page 34,M6 ; Has the main applicant’s application been assessed in

Review Policy Document?

Answer is NO, if you've never applied under HSMP

Thanks,

Hi rax, You have mentioned that leave blank for 'Question H1 :Have you ever had any Home Office or UK Border Agency reference number(s) assigned to
you?'. Please can you confirm whether you left blank or you selected the 'No' option?

Thanks

Hi, In section D, question D2: Where did the applicant obtain entry clearance or a visa before travelling to the United Kingdom?
What should I enter the city : I submitted my application at VFS Bangalore but visa issues at Chennai/Madras?

Question D28: Was this application submitted before the applicant’s leave expired?
My visa is going to expire next month but if I choose No, then the next question is "Has the date of the applicant’s leave, as stated in his/her passport, now passed?" Seems to me a trickyand silly...expired /passed?

Thanks,
Sudhir

Hahaha - you have started arriving like London Buses.

YES - List them separately. Use your contract start dates and do not round them up with month beginning/end dates
