Visa Extention Equiry

Post by mannny444 » Mon Mar 12, 2012 11:28 am

Hi, my tier 4 visa will be expiring soon and i have gotten a new CAS for extension from my college. Just want to know if the application acknowledgement letter from the home office specifies if there is right to work or not pending the determination of the application.

No. UKBA will never specify about work in acknowledgement letters.

Its understood that you have all rights as per your previous visa/stay status untill your LTR application decided by UKBA. Many employers provide 12 weeks time according to acknowledgement letters and after that they will suspend you from work.

But I dont know what is the current situation after July 4 2011 changes.
