That's a lot of questions and you seem to know very little so to answer those questions would take a great deal of time and effort. I think it would be better if you acquainted yourself with the Tier 2 rules and guidance and then asked questions the only those aspects of that document that you still don't understand.

Thanks,
I have one query now for my first question. I was reading below document
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf

and there is a following note:
Please note that it is not possible to switch from Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) to Tier 2 (General) from within
the UK, regardless of the date you were first granted leave under Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer)

What does it means ? Will I not be able to apply from here?

The note you refer to appears under the table about Switching (clause 16 of the current February 2012 Tier 2 policy guidance) and it is WRONG as it contradicts the information given in the table which is correct. UKBA are aware that the note is wrong, it was a mistake on their part. It will be removed from the next issue of the Tier 2 policy guidance. You can therefore ignore it.

Yes, you can apply from the UK but only if you are at present:

Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Established Staff) if you
are applying to change sponsor

or

Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer), under the rules in place
before 6 April 2010 if you are applying to change sponsor

However, note that you cannot apply if you are Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer: Long Term Staff) which is the category that was introduced in April 2011.

Remember also that your new sponsor will have to assign a CoS to you before you can apply.

The application form has all the other details you asked about:

The Long-Term Staff category was only introduced in April 2011, so if your Tier 2 ICT visa was issued in February 2010 you are likely to be Established Staff. This may be noted on your visa or Residence Permit.

As I said in the previous post you can apply from the UK to switch from Tier ICT to Tier 2 (General) if you are a Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) migrant under the rules in place before 6 April 2010 and if you are applying to change sponsor.

I'm afraid I don't know how long the application would take to process.
