Benefit Rule and public funds

Hi
I am getting public funds for being disabled i am british,getting Income support and Disability Living Allownace housing and council tax benefit, when my partner comes on a P.C.P Visa how will this work with my benefits? i am getting theses in my own rights and i am told he will be added to my claim, but if he carnt get any public funds how will this work with my income support as i dont wont it to effect his chances when it comes to applying for F.L.M and them saying you have claimed public funds by being added to your partners claim, i'm not sure how the D.W.P work this rule, if you could help please.
