Overstayer under reconsideration

Hi,

I overstaid my visitor visa since October 2007, back then I was in a relationship with my british boyfriend , we had a baby together in 2008, got married in July 2009 and applied for FLR(M) which was refused in April 2010.
I had help from IAS at that time who put me under a reconsideration case in January 2011 and gone into administration afterward. And since my MP and I have been writing to them.
Their last letter stated that they are still dealing with my case. My mother back home got a severe cardiac condition and I haven't seen her for a while, I have forwarded her medical document that state so and explained that I dont want the same scenario that happened with my dad who died of cancer , couldn't see him or go to his funeral to happen with my mother.
Does anyone know how long will it take them to reply to me (hopefully with a positive answer) as I am very stressed.
