Tier 2 general cahnge in employer

I am currently on Tier2 general visa sponcered by my comany if i want to change my employer do i need to serve that organisation for six months in india before they can issue me their Tier 2 general visa or they can sponcer my visa from within UK as well?

Tier 2 general visa holders can apply within UK to switch to another sponsor under Tier 2 general.
