Oversea higher education fees

Hi everyone,

My name is Sam and I'm a journalism student.
I'm currently writing an article about asylum seekers being forced to pay higher oversea student fees for university (while awaiting a decision) since the new rule in Feb 2011.

I was wondering how people feel about these fees? Or did you manage to go to university as an asylum seeker before the new rule came in (did you get funding)? Or if you have any other stories/ information regarding this I'd love to hear from you.

Or has anyone come over to the UK (as an asylum seeker) without an education and learnt in the UK and got a job from this?
