Conversion from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 dependent

Post by tantramexy » Mon Mar 19, 2012 6:22 pm

Hi,

My company filed a Tier 2 Intra Company transfer visa for me in January from India. However, the project I was supposed to be staffed on got delayed indefinitely. Because of this I am still in India with a valid Tier 2 visa. My husband who is currently in the UK also has a Tier 2 ICT visa. My questions are as follows:

1. Can I travel to the UK for a vacation to the UK to be with my husband on the Tier-2 visa? During this period, I will be on leave in my current job and will not be working while in the UK

2. Is it possible to convert my visa to a Tier-2 Dependent on my husband's Tier 2 visa? Do I have to do this while in India or I can file for this conversion while in the UK as well?

3. Is there a rule which mandates that if you have an un-used Tier 2 ICT visa on your passport, you cannot apply for a dependent visa for at least a year?

Could you please help me with the above.

Thanks!
