Philippine visitng sis in Germany and wish to visit UK also

Hello everyone,

I am a newbie here and I hope I am doing this correctly and posting this in the right topic forum. I hope I can get some help on two issues for 2 countries as follows:

GERMANY
I have a Philippine friend who is visitng her sister in Germany for about 2 months, starting in April 2012 and is in the process of applying for the Germany visa. During her stay in Germany, she would also like to visit the UK as this will be her first visit here. Her sister is sponsoring her for her visit to Germany. My questions here are:

1) does she still need to show she is financially able to support herself to apply for the German visa even though her sister and sister husband is sponsoring her ?
2) Does anyone know what amount needs to be in her bank if she need to show she is finaicially able to suppport herself ?

UK
Also, I have no problem to be her sponsor on her visit to UK. I am a UK resident But
3) should she apply for the UK visitor's vist while she is in Germany or before she leave for Germany ?
4) What documents do I need to show to be her sponsor to the UK and
5) does she need to show she has the financial means to support herself ?
6) Finally, will she need to appy for another vistor visa to return back to Germany before returning back the Philippines a few weeks later after her visit to the UK ?

I have tried to find some answers online, but without success. I hope you don't find my post too long or with too many questions and many thanks in advanced for your kind help and suggestions.

1. Not necessarily if her sponsors provide relevant sponsorship letter and other supporting documents.
2. No one can confirm without knowing the circumstances. It depends on the duration of the stay, nature of the visit and country specific visa policy.

6. No, just apply for multiple entry visa for Germany
