As Poland is your first stop you must apply for a Schegen visa at the Polish consulate in London. Their website has all the details. You can then use the same visa to enter Denmark.

Whether or not you require a visa depends on your nationality. Some nationalities need a visa, some don't. Check the relevant consulates websites.

If you do need a visa,as a spouse of a EU national, the Schengen visa should be issued free of charge.

I don't believe the Schengen visa will be free of charge if you're not travelling with the British spouse.

You are right. Forgot that the OP is travelling alone.

EDIT: visa is free if travelling alone. If travelling with spouse, no visa required.

Where does it say so? here lists 3 requirements for visa free travel. One of them is that your spouse travels with you. Do you meet all the requirements?

And I got it right the first time, the visa is free.

Just read the information on the consulate website. The instructions are very clear.
