Same bank statement for Income, fund for me and my dependant

Post by diwakar » Tue Mar 20, 2012 10:27 pm

Hi,

I have 12 month bank statement which will be my evidence for income source. The same statement will be proof of maintenance fund for myself and my wife. I assume this should be sufficient but what is the best way to present it. I am applying for extension next week. Me and my wife came together to UK on Tier 1 (General). Do I have to submit evidence of subsiting?

Thank you all in advance.

I do not think there is a right or wrong answer to your first question. You can arrange the documents in any manner you feel will not cause confusion to the CW. It is ok to use same statements to prove maintenance as well as to support income. You may wish to explain this fact in a covering letter.

Single Bank statements for all your qualification (salary credit and maintenance funds), is better

Just highlight your salary on your bank statement to make it easier for CW to spot it.

Good luck
