Tier 1 extension - Applying for dependants later

Post by viki83 » Wed Mar 21, 2012 9:48 am

I am on tier 1 general and have 3 dependants, wife, a baby recently born in UK without any visa and a 2.5 year old baby having tier 1 dependant visa. All of our visas expiring on 29/04/2012. Due to maintance requirement, I need to know if I only apply extension for me and my wife now and later on apply for kids after we get our visa, is it possible ?

Main concern is my 2.5 year old daughter's dependant visa would have been expired by then when I will apply again for her dependant visa. Is it allowed ? I know its allowed for new borns unless travelling but what about applying after dependants visa is expired, in case of children ?

Please can you clarify as I need to know my daughter who is 2.5 years old currently has a dependent visa which expired on 29/04/2012 same as mine. If I don't apply for her extension together with mine, and later on apply for extension after her visa expires, would it be allowed ? Won't that cause an issue that her visa is expired when we will apply for her extension ?

I read the link and mostly everywhere its mentioned "has valid leave to remain"
