Umbrella company payslip verification

My previous umbrella company not providing direct HR or payroll manager contact number to give as a reference for payslip verification however they have given the switchboard number and informed me that if uk border contact them then call will be directed to appropriate person.

Could you please let me is that OK to provide only company address and switch board number in the reference section?
