home office reference number

where i can find a home office reference number for previous application while applying for PSW? i was on a student extension visa and now applying for PSW.

it should be on the acknowledgement letter which the HO sent you when you applied previously, this is not a MUSt HAVE and can be ignored if you cant fine one
