OVERSTAYED BUT NEED TO APPLY FOR ILR

Post by YUMMYMUMMY » Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:18 am

Please help Im an Israeli citizen who came to the UK 8.5 years ago initially as a student , I then got married in a Registry Office here in 2004 to a British Citizen (6years of which I lived on an limited leave to remain visa ) and I have 2 young Sons and a third on the way. I recently lost my passport and was unaware that my Visa had expired consequently I now have no Visa and need urgent assitance in resolving this situation. I'm actually entitled to indefinite leave to remain but the fact that my Visa has expired is complicating my ability to apply as it Immigration here requires me to complete my Visa application from Israel which I am advised will take 8 weeks (it used to be on the spot) and as a business owner this is simply not a viable option for me. Also the fact that my Wife is due to give birth means that I must be with her and my family to support them.

Im told I could be rejected because Im here illegally by 6months - please help worry making me ill
