Joint Acct.....need urgent help

Hi...
I maintained my statement from nov 2011 to Feb 2012 . thn i got my statement from bank and letter(27 feb 2012) stated i m maintating the balance from nov. but unfortunatily i used the money after tht and i have not apply till now ....i have an joint account in iindia but the manager said they can give the statement only on the name of main applicanit not on the both name..... thay issue a letter to me that v r maintating the balaNCE since but the state ment is on the main applicant name.......wht to do now plssss telll...

Can the bank print a statement in both account holders names, if they can then request them to print this letter on the Banks letterhead and ask this to be stamped and signed on each page, thats the best bet you have. If you submit a statement without your name on it , it may end up in a refusal

HI.. Bank gave me the letter by saying tht i m maintating the balance since last nov 2011 but they gave me the bank state ment on the name of main account holder.... now i got copy of pass book signed and stamped and a letter on the letter head...with signed and stamped....but statement is on the main acct holder name....

I would say just submit the letter from the bank without the statement it will confuse the caseworker and can result in the visa not being granted you might have to go for an appeal them. keep it straightforward, make sure the letter from the bank is on original letter head with banks contact details, is signed and stamped with your name as primary accountholder with/without the joint account holders name

my joint account is in india and i got the bank letter on the name of both acct holder names and a copy of my pass book which also on the name me and my uncle...... but the problem is only tht the statement is on my uncle name not on my name.... in tht case wht can i do .....pls advise me....

Shouldn't a joint account statement have joint names?

Ideally they should vinny, somehow this doesnt, maybe a last minute addition and the name might appear in the next cycle

Statemment is on the main acct holder name which is my uncle in this case.........so pls let me know wht is the best way .....i have to apply b4 30 march ......i got bank letter which say i am and my uncle both are maintating the balance since nov 2011 and i also got a pass book copy which is also on the both name ..... only the statement is on my uncle name.....
