EEA2 returned

Post by mandu » Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:05 pm

Hi I submitted my EEA1 form together with the one my girlfriend EEA2 on the 13th of Feb 12.

Last week I sent an email to UKBA asking where they were with the CoA and replied that I should receive it shortly.

Today I received a letter returning the full application package stating that more evidence are required.

In the meantime, my girlfriend visa has expired (29th of Feb.)

Is she still legally within the UK? Can we re submit the package, provided that we include the required docs?

Thanks for your help in advance,
regards

If you qualify for EA1 and EA2, then yes, it's all legal. With the limited information you posted, it is difficult to see why more information was required. Do you have any idea yourself?

From your post it will be difficult for anyone to pinpoint why the HO is requesting for more evidence. If you can share with us the documents you submitted in your first application that will be of great help for anyone who can advice you.
In what capacity are you exercising treaty rights?
Did you apply as unmarried partner?
Answers to these questions will explain why HO asked for more evidence.
Best of luck
