Can a person Claim EMA or Bursary Fund under sponsor visa

Hi all,
i wonder if any one can help. my daughter study esol in college. she's under my sponsorship visa. she getting child benefit. she's got endoresd " no recourse to public fund".

my question is can she claim bursary fund or ema or any sort of fund for study while she study in college? or not.

she is still under 2 years visa.

any reply is highly appreciated.

EMA is attendance and performance based I think. To my understanding your child won't be able to claim EMA according to this document (link below)

so if it is not listed on page 7 as a public fund why do you 'think' the child will not be able to get ema with reference to page 7?

My mistake, I misunderstood 'attendance allowance for something else

attendance allowance and EMA are not the same.

However EMA was scrapped last year. Bursaries are not a public fund however they are harder to qualify for. See here
