Biometric Card

I will be applying for my Tier 2 General visa at my home country Malaysia on Wednesday.
Quick question on the biometric card, will they issue that card and hand it to me when they return back my passport and documents or will they post that out at a later date??
I know applying in the UK that the bio card is always sent out 3-4 weeks after it is taken.

Biometric residence permits are only issued for in country applications. If successful you will be issued an entry clearance vingette in your passport.
