No appointment available

Post by Victoria203 » Mon Mar 26, 2012 2:24 pm

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and find it very informative. Thanks.

I am trying to book an in-person appointment for ILR at Croydon or Birmingham or Sheffield but there is no luck doing it from web. Is there any specific day or time of the day when cancelled appointment get released for re-booking? Or it is question of keep trying it throughout the day and get lucky?

Thanks in advance!!

regards
Victoria

Victoria203: if you are lucky, you can grab an appointment if someone else has cancelled it. But if you want a guaranteed slot, I would suggest try booking 42 days in advance at mid night, as it’s when the slots become available.

For example at 12am tonight, when the date will change to Tuesday, 27 March 2012, you should be able to see and book appointment for Tuesday, 8 May 2012 which is exactly 42 days ahead.

I have myself tried it few times and this logic definitely works. Also I have noticed in last few weeks that sometimes at midnight, none of the Croydon appointments are available (could be an issue with the system) but you can see appointments for all other PEOs.

Hope this answers your question.

You can use TimeAndDate.com to calculate 42 days from your desired date.
