appointment after posting application (complicated case)

my sister poster her psw application while her MBA result was not announced. she was advised to resubmit the dissertation. now she got her pass result after 57 days of posting the psw application.

luckily ukba were late and just sent the letter for biometrics.

Can we book appointment by paying additional fee. so that we could avail the chance of new psw application before 5 apr if old application is refused.

Not sure what you mean by "Can we book appointment by paying additional fee" do you mean you want to change the application type from postal to In person, if yes then I dont think you can just change the application type like that, you will have to withdraw your application and then book a in person appointment, but best get a second opinion as well on this.
One more thing, your sister applied for PSW without result being posted so ideally did the awarding body confirm that qualification has/will be awarded, if not then I dont see how she will qualify to get a PSW!!

yes I mean to change the type of application from by post to in person.
actually her visa was expiring on 30-01-2012. and university result was late. so we submitted the application before visa expires by attaching the college letter that student has completed the mba result.
now we got the pass result from UNiversity so wanted to change the type so that if ukba refuses for submitting the application without result and sending result late, we may have a chance to resubmit the new application.

Hold on, in your post initially you said that your sister was advised to submit her dissertation, so I assume the letter issued by the awarding body does NOT say that she has been awarded the qualification or a date when she would be awarded as her dissertation was due.
If this is the case then I am afraid her application will be refused as the letter wouldnt clearly say that she has passed and that a degree will be awarded on xyz date (if it does then I am surprised why she was asked to resubmit the dissertation).

Also if this is refused she will not be able to furnish any new information if she was to appeal against the decision and as far as I know she cant change the application type unless she cancels the old application and re-applies again, so things arent looking to good
