N.I number confusion

Post by Hchintala » Tue Mar 27, 2012 11:19 am

Senior moderator please could you help
I have applied for psw visa today from hyderabad, everything was perfect I submitted bank passbook, statement and letter for funds and original letter fom uni but my problem is with N.I number I printed my online filed visa application and I realised that I entered wrong n.I number p.s this is purely unintentional basically my n.I number is SLxx5409b but I entered slxx5809b so I did a manual alteration of 8 into 4 but after I reached vfs the lady at vfs said they don't accept alterations but it clearly says on the vfs website that they are ok with minor alterations . So I basically printed out the same application but tis time I havent changed the 8 into 4 but instead submitted all my documents as such as I was panicking that there wouldn't be enough time for redoing everything and booking appointment again .now Im back from vfs n I'm panicking what's gonna happen I have no intentions of entering wrong n.I number I never worked over 20 hours but I was also not sent an n.I card like others from the hrmc as I had a long surname so I always has n.I letter please can someone advise me is there anything I can do everything is perfect in my psw application but instead of slxx5409b I misentered slxx5809b Im worried that ho might refuse my application and I wouldn't have time to reapply please please help me and advise me

Thanks in advance
Please leave you reply ASAP

this could either swing 2 ways....
the case worker could just give up and reject the application
OR
they could dig deep and get ur NI.. in doing this.. do not expect a normal response period.

I am sorry this happened ..I too am paranoid with this online submission thinggy !

lets hope for the best eh!
