Maintenance Funds

Post by saljav » Tue Mar 27, 2012 11:24 am

Hi All,

Just a quick question.

As per my understanding you need to have approx £800 in your account as maintenance funds for your Visa Extension. I have enough funds in my saving for over 90 days to cover me.

However my question is as follows ,

Is the maintenance funds calculated by taking amount in your savings for over 90 days minus the amount your due on your credit card.

for example, you have £1000 in your saving for over 90 days but your card card bill shows £1200 overdue (within 56 days).....does that mean that I dont qualify for the extension ?

How will they find out what your credit card bill is unless you send them a statement?

Are you seriously on T1?? There is no way for HO to verify that and that does not affect your application by any stretch of immigination !!
