can we travel when application reconsedration by ukba urgent

ill apply flr(m) visa but they refused resion language req but we fulfield all req send a latter ukba to recosedraion . they accepet request but sayes ukba will deal due time.its nearly 8 weeks now, current my wife got visa tear1 exp on dec2012. nead to travel urgent can we travel on my tear1 dependent visa and leave recosedration application as it is.???we will be back in uk 8 weeks time in case ukba request passport and all other docement so we can back quick..any body help.

2 option... is that option is batter i ll withdraw application and afier come back apply again new application. i know i nead to pay again fees but i want safe side i dont bother fees at the min... plz help
