Got my HSBC branch to stamp statements but....

Post by rosie877 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 1:33 am

It's not an 'hsbc stamp', its just that branch's official logo so the stamp says 'university ave' which is the name of that particular branch location. The manager signed them as well.

They printed them out in black and white but it has the bank logo and my name, account number, etc. Then they stamped it, signed it and also included a letter on bank letterhead stating that the statements are authentic. That letter was also stamped and signed.

I guess I'm worried due to the fact that the statements are not in color and the stamp doesn't say hsbc on it :? Am I making mountains out of molehills?

Also, the addresses on the statements aren't the same. 2 of them have my old US address on them and the recent one has my future roommate's address which is in the UK even though I'm not in the UK yet.
This is because I was signed up for the paperless option so I only received e-statements online so it really didn't matter what address I had on there.

The statements still clearly show my name, account number, etc

So I'm going to assume the fact that it shows different addresses doesn't matter?
