absence from uk

my absence from uk in 5 years on work permit is less than 100 days, do I need to have absence leave authorised by my employer, like on compnay letterhead or just mention it on FLR O

Avoid shortcuts. You want to make it as smooth a process as possible. You already need a letter from your employer about your salary, SOC code, and still being needed. Just make another listing business absences for them as well.
