salary period for Tier1 applicant

Post by jack_seth » Wed Mar 28, 2012 4:23 pm

Hi everybody,
I am going to apply my ILR on March 30 on the basis of Tier1. I need to earn 40K to get min. points for ILR application. I am planning to show my payslips & bank statements from Feb 2011 to Jan 2012. I am not paid for February since i have taken 1 month holiday (Loss of pay). Whether CW will ask for February payslip & bank statement for my case. I already got my employer letter to prove that i am still on employment.

Any senior ppl can suggest whether will it affect my ILR application if i don't include my feb. payslips. I have gone thru the application and it says that need to show income for any single consecutive 12 months period with in last 15 months time window.

Please suggest.. very urgent!!

Thanks in advance!!!

It doesn’t have to be 12 months. For example if you can show the enough income in 8 months, you will be fine.

Also according to current rules, you don’t need to be employed at the time of ILR.

Hi Linkers,

Thanks for quick reply. I am going to show only 12 months income(Feb 2011 to Jan 2012). When i am going to PEO on March 30, I will not be showing Feb 2012 income(Last month pay). Will it be a problem. What can i answer if CW asks for last month payslips& bank statements.

jack_seth: I don’t think so the CW will ask for Feb salary as they should only be concerned about the earnings in last 15 months which you are already providing (it could be 8 months, 10 months or 12 months).

According to current rules, one doesn’t need to be employed at the time of ILR. But it’s always advisable to have some savings in your account to show you can support yourself and possibly if you are working too.

But you have already got your employer letter to prove that you are still employed, so I think you will be fine.
