Tier 2 Application form after 6th April 2012

I am having a PEO appointment on 10th of April 2012. I would like to know if there will be a new application form on 6th of April 2012. Currently I have filled up the existing application form.(version 02/12). If there is a new form then I asssume that the form will be available well before 6th of April 2012.

"You should use the new forms from 6 April 2012. But if you apply on the previous version of a form, we will accept it up to and including 27 April 2012." as per ukba site.

I am a final year undergraduate student(completed 4 years of study in the UK). I will be graduating in July and looking to get a job in the area of my studies. Unfortunately, every job I have applied for is asking a work permit (employers arent keen on providing sponsorship). Currently, I want to talk to the company I did my one year placement with to give me a permanent role, but I need to convince them as to the ease of applying for a sponsorship certificate. Can you please advice me on the steps I need to take to get a Tier 2 visa (steps for my employer to get the sponsorship certificate) and the how long is this process going to take?
