Sweden Tourist Visa

Post by M3g466 » Thu Mar 29, 2012 11:13 am

Hello,

I am an Indian citizen currently working in England with a tier 2 visa valid till July 2012.

I am planning to visit my friend in Sweden for few days, i know i need to apply for tourist visa, my question is how long does it take to process the tourist visa provided all the formalities are completed.

Not sure if this make any difference but i hold Biometric Residence Permit in UK.

Thanks in advance

They suggest that it can take up to three weeks for a visa to be issued. That's meant to be the maximum time and it should be quicker.

Your UK residence permit will help you get the visa as it is considered to be your country of residence (ie you wouldn't be asked to go back to India and apply).
