need advise - application for dependent visa

Hi,

I had sent the visa application for my baby on 9th March 2012. My baby was born in UK and my husband is holding Tier 2 visa. We are applying dependent visa for my baby.

It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard and/or receive letter from UKBA that they are processing my baby application. Also, they haven't debit the money from bank yet.

I wonder what is the procedure, do we will receive any letter to inform us that they have start the application form. Anybody has the same experience? How long that we have to wait they start deal with my application form?
