Need Help Regarding Visa Extension Ltd Company Director

Post by vibhorjain84 » Fri Mar 30, 2012 10:34 pm

Hi,

I need to apply for UK Visa Tier 1 General Extension and need to know what all documents need to be provided as a proof.

I have set up a Limited Company. I only have a single source of income to which I raise invoices. My accountant has run a payroll for me and I also generate dividends for myself every month.

I have these basic questions, please suggest.

Do I apply as a Salaried employee or Self-Employed?
Do I need to show Business Bank Accounts Statements?
Do I need to show Invoices?
How do I get the stamped or company letterhead dividends?
How do I get the stamped Payslips or company letterhead payslips?
What other letters are required from Accountant?
Please suggest.

As per Immigration Rules - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... roduction/:
Under Part 6A of these Rules, "Self-Employed" means an applicant is registered as self-employed with HM Revenue & Customs, or is employed by a company of which the applicant is a controlling shareholder.
Please don't private message me or e-mail me for free personal advice - you are just wasting your time writing something that won't get answered.

Even then 'Employed' status saves the extra documentation. Guess most Ltd company directors apply as 'Employed' rather than 'Self Employed'.
