Biometric Acknowledgement through E-mail

Hi guys I posted application on 8th march I have received mail on 30th saying I have to book appointment for biometrics, is any one had this situation.

Yes, sometimes they send emails. In most cases they send paper letter but some people receive emails for some reason.

There is also follow up letter after email, usually, but I'm not 100% sure it is always sent.
