Proof of relationship with mother-in-law

i am about to apply for EEA2 resident document for me mom, i hold EEA2 Resident Permit and my mother is currently on a visit visa, as there is no one back home to look after her, me and my wife wants her to stay with us,

what documents you guys think i should send to ukba?

You need to show that she is dependent on you. Concentrate on how you would do that first. If you can do that the documents required would be pretty simple (marriage certificate, your wife's birth certificate).

Can i send a certified copy of my passport to prove that she is my mother officially , i will need my passport back as i am travelling to italy in may, would that be any problem?

Normally a birth certificate demonstrates parent / child relationship. Any other proof would work, but to be honest, I can't think of one just now.

Not her birth certificate - your birth certificate, showing your name and the name of your mother.

A passport is a travel document which has some details taken from a birth certificate.

On passport my Fathers name and her husbands name is same...

you are right, i mean i can obtain my birth certificate, i don't know how it works for pakistani nationals, i never had any need of it before but will check from pak embassy tomorrow

very late question but how can i provide dependency? i send money to her but that goes via my brother in law because she is not literate.

The slip which you were given after sending the money should be enough, back it up with a letter explaining the circumstances.
