This is last year's news. The service was not launched.

I suspect it just an error on the website. They did not remove it from the page when they decided not to launch it.

It isn't shown in the new fees leaflet. You would also expect the HO to make a public announcement about the service if it starts next week.

Yes, the fee was added to the list of fees last year (highlighted in yellow) and is gone from the list of fees this year.

It's not going to happen now I would say.

If this had been posted today, I would have sworn it was an April Fool's joke.

I very much doubt that a fee will be imposed for EEA premium applications.

To implement such fees, regulations will need to be passed and approved by parliament and possibly an amendment to the EEA regulations.

None of such measures are in the pipeline, never mind being implemented.

I therefore agree with the previous contributor that the list added EEA applications by error.

I doubt postage stamp, ink used to print and write on papers for correspondents will cost 300£.

If you take note of the table (valid until 05/04/12) it states- implemented date is TBC. However on the table (06/04/12) EEA is no where to be found. :)

The changes to fees applied last year, but was not implemented. The fees for this year do not show this type of application.
