Acknowledgement received for only part of family application

I posted an Adult naturalisation (form AN) and three Child Registration (3 x form MN1) for my children using Special Delivery. A separate payment slip was attached to each application.

I have only received acknowledgement for the Adult application, and only the fees for the adult application have been deducted. The acknowledgement letter says "No. of applications - 1". There is no mention of the MN1 applications.

I wonder if they never noticed the child applications that were enclosed even though all the child passports and birth certificates were included amongst the documentation?

Just an update - I phoned UKBA, and mentioned that they only sent acknowledgement for 1 application, and not for the 3 child applications.
A very helpful lady took my details and said they would inform the team handling the case that there are 3 additional applications included in the package that need to be acknowledged !
