I dont think it is mandatory to submit photocopies of the documents. You can check FAQ sticky:
Q - Do I need to take photocopies of documents submitted?
A - It is not mandatory as caseworkers should make copies. However you may take them and offer them to case worker, who in turn may or may not accept that. Some case workers like it (as they don't have to do it themselves), some want to do their own copying. So it is entirely your decision. Whatever you decide will not have any effect on ILR.

I can see at least one case here whereby the caseworker did not take the photocopies even though the applicant provided copies. See annu's post here http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=99623

In anycase, you seem well prepared so I wouldnt worry too much about whether or not to submit copies.

FAQ sticky might be out of date.
Latest SET (O) guidance http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco ... o04091.pdf states that applicant should include photocopies of all documents submitted as part of Application

10 DOCUMENTS
Documents provided with the application must be
originals. All supporting evidence must be in the form
of original documents. In addition you should provide
photocopies of each of these documents including
any pages of your passport(s) that contain personal
details, visas or immigration stamps (foreign or UK).
Information and/or advice provided by me is of general nature and is not intended to substitute for informed professional legal or other professional advice.

Hi,

Considering you are on old style workpermit (which is what I am on too), I was told by Greenie (Guru) the following:

"The two year requirement is for applications for ILR by PBS dependents under para 319E, and for applications for ILR for spouses of settled persons under para 287. -

if you are applying for ILR as a work permit holder under para 134 and your wife is a work permit dependent - the two year requirement does not apply and you can apply for ILR together without her completing two years as your spouse in the UK- see 196D"

But, I guess it's no harm to include any documents that you have. Looking at the list of documents that you have, I think you have covered all bases.

For my application, I was going to take a blank application form, just in case I have to modify/update any details. If you have a blank copy you may be able to update and submit there. (Just an idea!)

If you have not seen it already, there is an employer letter template in the forum which is quite handy to use.

And, if you have changed employers in the past, make sure to include a letter from them too. (P45 if possible)

Good Luck.

Krishna.

Is case worker is asking for last 3 months payslip and bank statement or 12 months?

As per my knowledge I need last 3 months of payslip and bank statements.

The reason why am I asking as I don't have payslip or main bank statement ( which shows my salary )for October 2011 to March 2012 as I send both of them to my home country for my parents visa. I got P60 of last 5 year though

I am on old workpermit and applying for ILR on first week of july using SET(O) form and

To be specific, I submitted three months bank statements and six months pay slip.

Feel free to look at my previous post which has the list of documents I submitted.

Hope this helps.
