Supporting documents (PE) - Contractor LTD Company

Post by rajesh9pl » Mon Apr 02, 2012 4:38 pm

Dear friends,

I need a some advice on supporting documents required for an applicant (T1 extension) who is working as contractor, operating through own limited company, 100% share holoder.

I draw £800 gross salary every month and rest I take as regular dividends.

Most of the threads I have read through say I need to apply as Employee as I draw salary, but one or two say poster had applied as Self empoyed or were considered as Self employed by caseworker.

Previous Earnings:

1. Payslip on company letterhead, stamped with company seal
2. Dividend Vouchers on company letterhead, stamped with company seal
3. Business bank statments
4. Personal Bank statements
5. Letter from accountant confirming my share holding in company, salary break up (gross and net), dividends paid each month (gross, net and tax credit) on accountant's letterhead

Do I need to include following as well?

1. Invocies
2. Minute of Meeting
3. Incorporation Certificate
4. VAT and flat registeration certificate

This is the first time I will apply as contractor, my initial application and early extension was done based on earnings from permanent role.

Many thanks,
Rajesh

Your document list looks OK.

You donot need to supply
1. Invocies
2. Minute of Meeting
3. Incorporation Certificate
4. VAT and flat registeration certificate

Might want to include that your accountant is a member of professional accounting body i.e ICAEW, ACCA etc.
Information and/or advice provided by me is of general nature and is not intended to substitute for informed professional legal or other professional advice.
